The graduation ceremony of the graduates of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science, who have been declared graduates during the January-February 2026 examination period or any previous period, will take place on April 30, 2026 (the exact time will be announced later).
Those graduates who wish to participate in the ceremony must, during the period from 19/03/2026 to 03/04/2026, log in to the page 
https://students.duth.gr using their institutional account and apply for participation in the oath ceremony, by selecting from the menu: Grades → Degree Requirements → Oath Ceremony Application.
They will need to upload:
Application for participation in the oath ceremony (docx: 18Kb).- A photo of their academic ID card (front side only). In case of loss, they must upload a police-issued declaration of loss.
Until the day of the ceremony, the application status will appear as pending and will be finalized the day after the oath ceremony.
It is mandatory for graduates to have settled any pending obligations with University Services by 03/04/2026:
- Library (e.g. if books or a thesis are owed to the Library, or books need to be returned to “Eudoxus”), and
- Student Housing (if accommodation was provided, there must be no outstanding obligations).
The Secretariat will be informed by the Library and the Student Housing or Welfare Office directly, and no additional certification is required from students.
Participants in the oath ceremony must arrive at the Department’s Secretariat at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony for identity verification and related procedures.
After the oath ceremony (approximately one week later, and within 20 days), you will be able to download the following digitally signed certificates from https://students.duth.gr:
- Degree certificate
- Graduate verification certificate
- Transcript of records
- Specialization certificate
- Diploma Supplement (in Greek and English)
- Thesis certificate (if applicable)
- Teaching and Pedagogical Competence Certificate
Graduates who wish to receive their degree printed on parchment must follow the steps below:
- Deposit the amount of €30 into the bank account of the Property Management Company of D.U.Th.: IBAN: GR88 0172 3530 0053 5304 5938 717 (Piraeus Bank). Attention: The payment receipt must include the note “Degree parchment issuance – Oath Ceremony 30/2026” and the full name of the student.
- Email the payment receipt to the Department Secretariat (secr@phyed.duth.gr) using their institutional email account.
Important notes:
Each graduate may be accompanied by up to four (4) guests, whose names must be submitted to the Secretariat no later than one week before the ceremony.
During the ceremony, the use of gas or hand-held air horns, any sound-emitting devices, confetti, or any objects that may pose a risk to safety (e.g. fire hazards, short circuits, etc.) is STRICTLY PROHIBITED within the Amphitheater and the building (Atrium). These are considered disruptive and violate academic decorum.
Professional photographic coverage during the ceremony will be limited.
